Max went out this morning and saw his shadow.
That means 6 more weeks of winter.
Poor Max, poor us. But we’ll suffer on.
Hehehehe.

Given what we got yesterday afternoon and throughout the night………….. that is some sense of humour. It must be tough looking at palm trees etc everyday! We are currently at -10C and look out over some bare trees and snow drifts. 🙂

Snow…yeah, I recall hearing about that stuff. Rather inconvenient, I’m told.

People in France wonder how we stand it here in the tropics….someone has to do it I tell them…

You speak to the folks in France? I just practice my non-Gallic shrug and say “hon, hon”.

The weather is wonderful for pups but they are mightily afflicted by the bugs and spores and other stuff that makes them itchy in the sub-tropics. Oh, was that a tear I see? No? OK.

Way to go, Max! Not!! I shoveled for over an hour yesterday morning (can anyone remind me why I bought a house on a large corner lot-just wondering?). Am a bit ‘over’ the whole winter thing. 🙂

Yes but us snow shovelers may have the last laugh when the tropical storms are on the prowl!

You can’t be over the whole winter thing. February in Colorado is just the early days of winter.

We had sunny and 75 yesterday, but it’s back in the 40s today.

That should be good for your new garden! The 75 part. Well, I guess the 40 part, too, depending on what you plant.

Max looks so adorable. We are at 30 degrees. You’re a real trooper to suffer like that…..

30? That’s slightly below the temperature of ice cubes, right? I thought you guys were in Florida, land of sunshine. Brrr!

Just you wait Max. Soon you’ll be complaining about sunburn, sunscreen and being thirsty…not to mention being brushed all the time as your winter coat doesn’t quite fall out. xx Bilbo

Aren’t we upmarket?!! I’m afraid since Lady arrived, I have really started looking like the tramp and I’ve heard threats about getting a rather drastic haircut. Stay tuned.

Our mutual friend, Helen, sent me over here to meet the “other” Max. Little did I know I would be faced with such hardship. Do try to soldier on!! LOL!
