  1. Dear Max, I hope you are OK, and your humans are merely having fun at your expense. Mine has been barking (coughing) like crazy but yelling at me when I need to exercise my lungs with a few woofs.

  2. Oh! Max, is your crazy daddy pulling our legs?! Murphy and I sure hope so. It would make us very sad to know that you’re really sick. ๐Ÿ˜ข

Then again, we know that your dad is a real sicko and that doesn’t bother us at all!! ๐Ÿค—

Sending you hugs and kisses and gentle belly rubs.

    • Hand washing has been a sore subject of late. The AJF decided that I do not wash my paws frequently enough. I do, but I don’t always demand an audience, so some wash-ups go unnoticed. So, of course, I just grumbled under my breath when she made her accusation and ignored her. Sure enough, a couple days later I came down with a cold. The “I told you so’s” are unspoken but plentiful and they lie heavy on the air around here. Smirks and derisive facial expressions abound. The Malt thinks it is all quite hilarious, vile little pup.

    • According to the government, current evidence supports the fact that pet dogs pose a minimal zoonotic risk to their human companions. That works both ways, I assume. Personally, I think the word “zoonoses” (meaning disease that can spread between human and other species) is a funny looking word. Zoo-noses, like an elephant trunk or maybe an anteater? But I digress. I promise not to infect Maxwell if he’ll promise the same to me. Fair’s fair.

  3. Oh, Max are you going to rob a bank or are you concerned about the Coronavirus?

When I first heard of the virus I thought it might spread because people drank Corona beers! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ ๐Ÿ˜€ But, I know better now! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Be safe and well, Max! Illness and diseases are scary! ๐Ÿ˜ฆ
And best guard yourself from Human-Beans…they can be germy and spread icky illnesses.

    PATS RUBS and HUGS!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Dear Max, you can never be too cautious in this age of super bugs (I know, I managed to find one a couple of days ago yet I didn’t recently travel remotely close to the epicenter). Alas, with all the consternation and media coverage, masks are in big demand. The local drug stores cannot keep them on the shelves and are constantly out of stock.

Hope no one in your household is suffering from any ailments.

    • Hope you weren’t sniffling and sneezing while gallivanting around the Caribbean! Maybe it’s that Old English Sheepdog fur that causes the sneezes? Spoos are hypoallergenic but OES? You probably need a lint roller more than a mask around an OES. To answer your question, I have a cold but am receiving absolutely no sympathy around here. I did resort to a favorite juvenile gag where I wet my hands whilst no one was looking and then sneaked up behind the AJF. Just as I sneezed (into my elbow) I flicked my fingers so the water on my hand landed on the back of her neck. Oh my, oh my, she was not amused. The horror of a wet willie combined with germs raised her level of disgust to new heights. I ran away doing a little victory dance and never explained what actually happened. I forecast a cold Valentine’s Day this year.

  5. We have been wearing facemasks since Dec last year. We were in ZhongShan, China, then. At that time, it was not a big deal until we returned to HK. Ka-Pow!! and a Woof-woof!!……it became a health issue of almost impending gloom globally. We understand it is a necessary obligation…..Poor Max here….:((

    • I haven’t heard much about the virus in Malaysia. But a trip to China might lead to exposure. It’s just hard to separate the science from the media which loves to dramatize everything.
