Indignant

Extra Close Up

“How Dare You!”

“What am I, Chopped Liver?”

That was Max’s response when his last post, “Quarantined Malt” garnered no comments.

Zero. Ziltch. Nada.

Turns out, the WordPress “comments” were disabled for that post. Why? Who knows?

Very mysterious, but the problem has been corrected.

The Malt is still indignant.

  1. Look how clean Max is. My little formerly white dog has gone on a mouse-killing rampage. He is muddy All The Time. I wonder how Jacques β€” or Max, either one β€” would do against those fat Norway/California rats….

    • The difference is that the caged garden hasn’t been watered this season, unlike the French jardin where the ferocious and deadly other little white dog was romping. Add a little H20 and Max would have rivalled Jacques for the dirty dog of the week award. If Max cornered a big rat, my money would be on the rat but as long there is an escape route the rodent will take the cowardly way out.

  2. Max, you know we would never ‘not’ comment to a Max post. We might not comment to a Tom post because, well, you know….if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I can’t believe your crazy dad put you in that cage, and probably for longer than he’ll admit to. Maybe the California sun has fried his last brain cell.

Murphy was ready to pack up all her toys, and bed, and food and fly out to be with you. I assured her that the AJF wouldn’t let crazy dad get too crazy!! πŸ™„

And then he pretends you have the dreaded corona virus! I think he’s been drinking too much Corona! Bet he was considering a Go Fund Me page to pay for all your medical bills! Lol.

Hope dad is showering you with kisses and belly rubs. Enjoy being a “cage free” Malt again.

  3. I was diggng soooo hard at the screen trying to bark my comments. I’m glad the glitch is fixed and all your friends can support you again. (Have you considered digging in the garden? It drives the humans nuts!) – Toby

    • I don’t know, Toby. So far the comment gallery is full of folks taking undeserved shots at me and making it seem like Max was mistreated (again and again and again.) It’s not fair and balanced. Maybe I should go Desiderata style: “placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence.” In fact I think I’ll play some Simon and Garfunkel, perhaps Sounds of Silence. Shhhhhh.

  4. Aw, Max! Don’t be mad or sad!
We thought your Dad didn’t want us to comment on those photos that show he put you in a cage. How dare he! You know we would have been ruff on him in the comment section! ‘Cause we love you and want you to be free! πŸ˜€
    PATS and RUBS!!! πŸ˜›
PS…Glad the situations got fixed…the commenting and you outa’ that cage!

  5. And so it continues…abuse of Tom is popular, I see. Oh well, if the Desiderata reference above didn’t work, let’s go with Invictus: “My head is bloody but unbowed.”

    • I did a computer chat with WP tech support and the representative was very nice and helpful. But when we got to “how come the comments were turned off”…crickets. πŸ¦—πŸ¦—πŸ¦— Max doesn’t want excuses, he’s a money player and demands results.

  6. I was so ready with my comments about MAXimum security so imagine how indignant I was with no place to write ’em. The nerve! Never fear, little Max–you had a ton of bloggers ready to save you from…..Dad.

    • MAXimum security, eh? That’s pretty good. I’ll steal that one. Sure am glad you pointed out the WP problem or I’d be sitting here in peace and quiet with no one chewing on my leg. Yeah, thanks Lois. πŸ˜›

  7. Suggest you ask a WP rep to call and explain their shortcomings to Max…he should be wearing his viking hat for the occasion and can explain to them that he is capable of making a blood eagle of one of them if it happens again. In that hat they would believe it…I think.

    • “Thoughts of Dog” has always been one of my favorite internet sites. Whoever writes these is very creative and funny and it’s easy to imagine a dog thinking like this.Always right on target!

  8. I follow you and I never see the posts in my reader. πŸ˜ͺπŸ˜ͺ I blame the terrorists. But at least you are getting comments now in the comment gallery, not to be confused with the peanut gallery.
